Autonomous vehicle software developer Oxa has appointed Katy Goldwater as its new chief people officer, bolstering its growth as it scales globally this year.
Joining Oxa’s senior leadership team, Goldwater will lead the firm’s people strategy, which includes recruitment, talent development, and organisational effectiveness. She will aim to deliver on Oxa’s goal to make it the best place to start and develop a long-term career.
Goldwater brings more than 25 years of experience as an established global human resources executive to her role at Oxa. She has held leadership roles in high-growth firms such as TikTok, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Astellas Europe, as well as both the financial services and healthcare divisions of General Electric.

In addition, Oxa’s founder and chief technology officer (CTO) Professor Paul Newman has been appointed to the role of president. In this role, he will help drive the business’ strategic vision and will continue his CTO responsibilities in providing the technology and invention that underpins Oxa’s products.
