Moto Hospitality adds discounted childcare support for employees

Moto HospitalityMotorway services operator Moto Hospitality has partnered with nursery and early years education provider Busy Bees to offer its workforce discounted childcare support.

Its 5,500 UK employees received a 10% discount on childcare fees at any of Busy Bees’ national network of more than 350 nurseries. They can also access the provider’s Unleashing Potential app, which offers a flexible early years learning programme for children aged 0 to 5 years.

The nurseries provide children with Early Years Foundation Stage framework, outdoor spaces, activities tailored for each age group, and NHS-accredited meals and snacks freshly prepared on-site by chefs.

According to Moto Hospitality, it introduced the discount in order to support working parents and improve their work-life balance.

Emma James, head of colleague experience and communications at Moto Hospitality, said: “Our business’ purpose is to brighten people’s journeys through life, and that means caring for our own staff as well as the millions of customers we welcome to our 52 sites every year. This practical childcare solution is part of a suite of family friendly benefits we have established to support working parents.

“We also direct our parents to some of the expert advice Busy Bees posts on its website to share best practice and great educational ideas. Hospitality is such a competitive industry and the whole sector has struggled with recruitment since the Covid-19 pandemic. We understand how important it is to offer good benefits and conditions to attract and retain the best people.”

Moto Hospitality also offers staff up to 60% discounts on on-site brands for themselves, their partner and up to four friends or family members, as well as free drinks and ice creams during shifts, a bonus scheme, flexible working, private healthcare, life assurance, an enhanced pension, financial wellbeing support through Wagestream, enhanced maternity and paternity leave, and free flu jabs.
