IAG Loyalty launches financial wellbeing support for staff

IAG Loyalty financial wellbeingCustomer loyalty programme provider IAG Loyalty has introduced new financial wellbeing support for its more than 600 employees as part of a drive to expand wellbeing assistance.

Provided by AI-powered household money-saving tool Nous.co, the support is offered to IAG Loyalty employees through a subscription. The platform manages services including energy, mortgages, broadband and mobile in one place, and automates searching for fair deals and switching to cheaper providers, enabling them to save money and their time.

IAG Loyalty employees used Nous tools to find out how much they were overpaying on their household bills during onboarding sessions, and found savings opportunities worth an average of £485 per worker. A number of employees found savings opportunities worth more than £1,000, which could likely rise further as Nous further expands its service to include insurance.

According to the employer, it has rolled this out at a time when rising prices are the number one source of concern for UK employees.

Helen Miller, chief people officer at IAG Loyalty, said: “Here at IAG Loyalty, supporting our people to maintain a happy and healthy lifestyle is at the heart of our approach to wellbeing, it’s a large part of our culture and something we take very seriously. We offer a range of support to help colleagues with their physical and mental health, and now we’re able to offer Nous membership as a way to support with their financial health, too.

“It’s fantastic to see that Nous is finding such significant savings opportunities for our people. We’re committed to being an inclusive workplace and we want to make sure the help we offer works for everyone. Nous fits into this perfectly. After all, we all have bills to pay.”

IAG Loyalty’s existing benefits package includes opt-in private health and dental care, flexible leave, hybrid working and discounted fares for staff and their nominees on its partner airlines.
