Employers embracing Gympass’ online mental, physical and financial wellness solution

Employers have warmly welcomed the new Gympass Wellness digital platform which successfully closes the loop by providing 360-degree wellness support for their employees.

Designed to nurture all-round healthy habits, Gympass Wellness includes mind and body solutions including mental health, tailored nutrition plans, mindfulness, meditation, sleep and relaxation programmes plus financial wellbeing advice. Alongside a diverse range of digital fitness training sessions, it also offers personal training, family fitness activities and live classes from partners including Bannatyne, DW Fitness First and MoreYoga.

Tesco is one Gympass partner which was quick to cascade the Gympass Wellness opportunity to its staff as part of its comprehensive delivery of sharing digital health and wellbeing options.  “The last six weeks have brought unprecedented change to our colleagues’ lives and wellbeing,” says Toni McKay – Head of Health, Wellbeing and Colleague Experience at Tesco. “We are thankful to all of our wellbeing partners in their resilience and flexibility to adapt quickly to the change, in turn supporting each colleague in a way that suits their needs. Some fantastic digital innovation has brought to life on demand classes and activities to households in isolation, and helped us learn more about our minds, and nutrition during this difficult time,” she says.

Gympass fast-tracked the development of its digital wellness solution to meet the unprecedented demand for digital fitness and wellness solutions during the Covid-19 lockdown. Proving to be a highly intuitive and valuable platform, Gympass Wellness empowers HR heads to support their employees’ wellbeing digitally.

It already has 45 apps on the platform globally including FIIT, the world’s top-rated fitness app, alongside programmes as diverse as Moneyed, iPrescribe, Yogaia, Wellness Coach and Zen App. It also includes Healing Clouds which allows users to access 1-to-1 mental health counselling directly through the Gympass app. The platform is set to grow swiftly as more apps come on board and will form a central part of Gympass’ mission to defeat inactivity.
