Something for the weekend: Voucher code website Bountii has begun searching for someone to trial and test the Apple Vision Pro Virtual Reality (VR) Headset before its UK release, and get paid for the privilege.
The successful candidate will be paid £60,000 to wear the headset for eight hours a day for a week, completing daily tasks to test how the headset works in everyday life.
They will need to analyse its features, performance and overall user experience, while observing how others react to it. They will also be required to watch movies in an immersive environment and multitask playing games and messaging friends.
The job additionally requires a minimum of one in-depth review a month for the contracted year of employment of the latest products and ones that have yet to be released. These will be shared through Bountii’s website.
If that wasn’t exciting enough, the lucky applicant will also be able to keep the VR headset, along with any other products they test. Other perks include all meals while product testing paid for and exclusive discounts on other technology products.
Candidates must be over 18 years old and be interested in the latest gadgets to be successful for the role, which is a full-time contract and fully remote.
