Webinar: Future proofing employees’ financial wellbeing

Employee Benefits webinar financialEmployee Benefits’ webinar, Future proofing employees’ financial wellbeing, sponsored by Aviva, will be broadcast live at 11am on Tuesday 16 July 2024.

The discussion will explore what financial wellbeing means, some of the current trends, what the next five years will look like for financial wellbeing, how employers have responded to the cost-of-living crisis and how they can segment the financial wellbeing needs of their workforce.

Employee Benefits’ editor Debbie Lovewell-Tuck will welcome four expert panellists for an in-depth discussion about how a pension supports a flexible lifestyle, what retirement looks like and people can prepare for it, how to ensure individuals are comfortable talking about money and what more can be done in this area.

It will also focus on what employers can do to support financial wellbeing outside of pensions, to ensure they truly understand employees’ financial wellbeing needs, to bring financial wellbeing to life beyond barriers to engagement, and what they need to do now and in the future to help employees achieve a baseline of financial security.

The expert panel includes:

  • Laura Stewart-Smith, head of client engagement, workplace, Aviva
  • Ian Hodson, director of people and culture, Housing 21
  • Natalie Jutla, employee benefits and employee financial wellbeing lead, Defra – Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
  • Gail Irvine, head of business development and policy, the Living Wage Foundation
