This month will see the release of a TV advertising campaign to raise awareness of auto-enrolment among small and micro employers. It arrives before an unprecedented number of businesses approach their staging date.
TPR head of industry liaison Neil Esslemont described the campaign as a first for the watchdog as the regulator prepares an initiative to communicate auto-enrolment to the masses.
Johnson Fleming’s Development Director David Roderick states: “We are expecting this advertising initiative to significantly drive incoming enquiries from SMEs. With an average of 45,000 employers per month due to stage from January 2016 onwards, the industry certainly has a lot to prepare for.
“Companies should be planning ahead, ensuring they implement a solution that is right for their business before the industry experiences an unavoidable strain caused by this huge influx.”
