Wholesaler Parfetts has awarded its employees a 12% profit share bonus following a record year for turnover.
The employee-owned business operates depots in Aintree, Anfield, Birmingham, Halifax, Middlesbrough, Sheffield, Sommercoates and Stockport.
All qualifying employees will receive the bonus in October. It is an increase from the 10% profit share bonus that Parfetts awarded employees last year as part of its recognition of their contribution to its continued growth.
The profit share bonus is in addition to a 4% sales growth bonus paid in July and a 10% business-wide pay rise in April.
This follows an 8% increase in turnover to £696 million in the latest financial year. This is also an increase from last year, when the wholesaler achieved a 4.7% rise on like-for-like sales worth £605 million in the previous financial year.
