Two NHS trusts are piloting a new employee health and wellbeing platform for their combined 11,000 employees.
West London NHS Trust and Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) commenced the pilot programme, which will run until June, on 31 January 2020.
The platform, called Juice, is provided by Everyday Juice and funded by Health Education England (HEE). It creates a central online hub with which to co-ordinate and communicate wellbeing activities and events, as well as automating the organisation process. The platform also allows employees to share their own hobbies and interests with fellow staff, and engage in learning, as well as access peer-to-peer support and a range of health and wellbeing information.
This pilot forms part of an ultimate goal to create a wider NHS co-operative, which shares health and wellbeing resources and provisions across various trusts.

Wendy Brewer, director of workforce and organisational development at West London NHS Trust, said: “We want to ensure our staff have greater access to wellbeing advice, which will improve their mental and physical health. Juice will help do that and our workforce is looking forward to using this platform.”
David Bell, head of HR at CNWL, added: “We know that happy staff make for happy patients and so the wellbeing of all our staff is hugely important to us. We believe this platform will help our staff to maintain and improve their mental and physical health.”
