LinkedIn appoints VP of international HR business partners

LinkedIn has promoted Lisa Finnegan to the role of vice president of its international HR business partners.

In her new role, Finnegan will be responsible for leading LinkedIn’s HR business partners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Latin America (Latam) and Asia Pacific regions, which will now be consolidated under one single team. Prior to her promotion, Finnegan was senior director of human resources for EMEA and Latam at LinkedIn.

Josh Graff, managing director, EMEA and Latam, LinkedIn, said: “In the space of five years, Lisa has had a tremendous impact on LinkedIn, creating a workplace and culture where our talented employees who are from a range of diverse backgrounds can do their best work and thrive.”

He explained that, as a large business that has been working remotely since the onset of the pandemic, its HR business partners have been integral to supporting the wellbeing of employees and helping them to continue to do great work, while also maintaining LinkedIn’s unique company culture despite being physically apart.

He added: “I applaud Lisa’s achievements in this respect and congratulate her on taking this next step in her career.”

Commenting on her new appointment, Finnegan said: “LinkedIn’s culture has always been our key differentiator and has underpinned our success as a company. As we continue to expand our international footprint, our talent will continue to be our top priority so it is vital that we offer the same great experience no matter where you work at LinkedIn. The HR function is key to ensuring this and I look forward to supporting the LinkedIn growth story as we go from strength to strength internationally.”
