EC Harris has boosted employee interest in its total reward statements (TRS) after simplifying and promoting the online system. It has provided TRS since July 2005, but only 500 of its 1,600 UK staff had previously logged on to the system. Since the overhaul was completed in September, about 1,000 employees have done so. Joanne Wotton, reward manager, said: "The information is presented in a simpler way. Managers now find it easier to talk about benefits when they are doing annual reviews. It’s about reminding [staff] what they actually get."
