BSkyB has added vouchers to its salary sacrifice plan to enable more employees to take advantage of the scheme.
The plan, which was launched in April this year, also includes childcare vouchers, bicycle loans and a home computing scheme.
Speaking in the session entitled ‘Using salary sacrifice to deliver benefits to employees and the business’, Dev Raval, group head of reward, said: “It’s something everyone can take part in. [Employees] may already have a computer and may not have children.”
BSkyB introduced salary sacrifice arrangements as an add-on to its benefits package to help support employees’ lifestyles and help to maximise their take-home pay.
Raval added that the addition of vouchers was also intended to reflect the Sky brand, which is centred around choice.
