Money.co.uk introduces new volunteering and health benefits

money.co.uk Team copyMoney.co.uk has added new volunteering and health and wellbeing initiatives to its employee benefits programme.

The Cirencester-based financial comparison organisation launched a range of new benefits to its reward programme at the beginning of 2016. This includes health and fitness-related schemes, such as sponsoring a team to enter into a local Tough Mudder event, paying for football pitch fees at Cirencester Arena and hiring basketball courts at the Cotswold Leisure Centre so that staff can play at lunchtimes.

The organisation, which employs around 50 members of staff, has also introduced three days’ leave for volunteering activities and has given each staff member £5,000 to donate to a charity of their choice.

Other benefits that the organisation already offers include five-star holidays in locations such as Florida, Dubrovnik and New York, a healthcare scheme provided by Bupa, and an on-site gym.

This year, Money.co.uk was named as one of the top 10 best small places to work by Great Place to Work. This is the second consecutive year that the organisation has been listed.

Chris Morling, founder and managing director at Money.co.uk, said: “I am genuinely delighted that the team are so happy with the culture that we’ve worked hard to develop here.

“There is such a buzz in the office at the moment, I am very proud of what we’ve achieved so far and have very ambitious plans for the future. I believe a happy team is a key ingredient to a successful business so I constantly look to them for feedback in ways we can improve their working environment.

“I support and trust my team in the decisions they make and encourage and thank them in many different ways.”
