Business campus Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work has introduced a series of eight early morning and lunchtime spin classes, free of charge, as part of its ongoing focus on wellbeing in the workplace.

Chiswick Park, which is a 1.8 million square foot business campus located in West London, is home to organisations such as QVC, Disney, Starbucks and Danone. It is managed by property management company Enjoy-Work.

The programme of spin classes, unveiled on 9 May 2018 and promoted on the community app District Tech, take place on the roof of the tallest building in the park, with a view of the London skyline. The initiative is part of Chiswick Park’s wellbeing week, which ran from 8 to 11 May 2018 and is centred around improving the work-life balance of the 9,000 workers on site.

The week has included a range of activities covering multiple aspects of health and wellbeing. These include meditation, sports clubs, health assessments and nutritional workshops.

Matt Coulson, chief executive officer of Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work, said: “We want to offer more of [these] opportunities to our guests here at Chiswick Park. We launched our rooftop spin class during our second Wellbeing Focus Week of the year, a week when we help our guest [organisations] support the physical and mental wellbeing of their employees. We strongly believe that people who enjoy work do better work and we want to give them as many occasions as possible to do so.”
