​Morrison Utility Services incentivises driver behaviour

Morrison Utility Services has launched an employee incentive scheme to help improve driver behaviour.

The utility services provider wants its Green Driver campaign to reduce road accidents and help save up to 7% on its fuel costs.

The incentive scheme, provided by Red Letter Days for Business, comprises a driver league table that will monitor the performance of its employees.

Staff will be monitored via a platform of vehicle tracking provided by Masternaut, using in-car driver feedback units (telematics) combined with compliance-related statistics from in-house databases, which are managed by a team of analysts.

The roll out will be completed across the organisation by August 2015.

As the programme is rolled out, employees will embark on the ‘battle of the best’ to see who will be named the organisation’s best driver.

The winner will be rewarded with a £250 lifestyle voucher, provided by Red Letter Days for Business, to spend in a choice of more than 120 shops, bars and restaurants, or on an experience day.
