PFA targets young players’ driving

The Professional Footballers Association has introduced driver training for its fast car-mad young footballers. The organisation offers one three-hour session for trainees and youth team players to help them drive more safely. The PFA says the lessons will reduce the risk of harm to footballers, their families and the communities in which they drive and may help in avoiding incidents such as the recent arrest of Arsenal star Jermaine Pennant for drink driving.
