Staples adds to its employee healthcare provision

Staples has added an occupational health programme and claims management service to its healthcare provision.

The office products organisation will offer PMI Health Group’s employee healthcare advice and claims management service, Managed Care.

The service is provided by nurses who give advice and support on any healthcare related matter via a dedicated helpline.

PMI Health Group’s consultant occupational physicians will also carry out occupational health assessments for Staples.

David McGlennon, head of HR operations for Staples UK, said: “We have established a strong reputation as an organisation that invests in its people and this latest move further strengthens our status as an employer of choice.

“The membership of our medical scheme has almost doubled over the last two years and so we wanted a single provider to offer us a coordinated service, advising on managing costs and ensuring employees are well supported.”
