Cosalt, the industrial services and leisure group, has appointed Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) to provide services for its defined contribution (DC) scheme which has nearly 600 members.
The DC scheme, which replaced a defined benefit (DB) scheme, will be serviced by JLT teams based in Leeds and Exeter. Bill Wood, spokesperson for the trustees of the Cosalt pension scheme, said: "JLT will support us in the management of the schemes, helping to filter information and requirements effecting us. They put forward a team with the right balance of skills and experience but with a clear ability to assist the trustees and Cosalt establish and manage the key risks in running these schemes."
Neil Carrick, financial director at Cosalt, said: "We immediately felt there was a good rapport with JLT which is so important for successful business relationships. Their approach offered us both value for money and the risk management and tools that we require."
