Salary sacrifice car schemes are the most popular benefit that employers plan to add to their flexible benefits plan, according to the Employee Benefits/Towers Watson Flexible Benefits Research 2014.
Some 22% of respondents plan to add this perk to flex, while 10% of employers plan to add low-emission cars to their plans.
Some 18% of employers currently offer salary sacrifice cars and 11% of employers currently offer low-emission cars through their flex plans.
Dining cards, such as Tastecard and Gourmet Society, ranked as the third benefit on employers’ radars, with 12% of organisations planning to offer the perk. Just over 40% of employers currently already offer it.
Meanwhile, 7% of employers plan to introduce childcare vouchers, which is the most popular benefit employers currently offer through flex, offered by 86% of organisations.
