EXCLUSIVE: Gain insight into engagement tactics fit for the future at Employee Benefits Connect 2017

EXCLUSIVE: Delegates at Employee Benefits Connect 2017 will be able to gain insight into engagement techniques that are fit for the future of work.

Debra Corey (pictured), group reward director at Reward Gateway, and Glenn Elliott, founder and chief executive officer at Reward Gateway, will jointly lead a session titled ‘Connecting with your people: the employee engagement bridge model’ as part of the employee engagement conference stream on Wednesday 1 March 2017.

The session will discuss the 10 pillars that form the basis of the engagement bridge, such as honest and open communication. Elliott and Corey will outline how this method can provide the building blocks of a holistic employee engagement strategy that creates long-lasting and meaningful connections across an organisation.

Corey said: “It’s all about not being afraid to change how [employers] think about engagement. The world is changing so much, even if [employers] have engagement, [they] have to change the way [they’re] doing it because [there are] millennials, gig workers, technology. [Employers] have to start thinking differently if [they’re] going to have engagement; whether it’s through benefit programmes, reward programmes, learning and development, all of the 10 pillars of the [engagement] bridge.”

In addition, the session will include case studies that highlight creative approaches to improving workplace culture and employee engagement.

Corey added: “We want to balance the theory with some practical things that [attendees] can go back and do differently [at their organisation], so they can create their own engagement bridge.”

Employee Benefits Connect 2017 will take place on Wednesday 1 March 2017 at the Park Plaza, London.
