French Connection is communicating its newly-launched cycle-to-work scheme to boost take-up of the perk.
The clothing retailer introduced the scheme in December for staff in all its retail stores as well as its head office in Camden, London, and distribution centre in Purfleet. It has promoted it internally using posters, emails and information on its intranet.
Employees who sign up to the scheme, provided by Fair Care, can choose from a range of cycles from Halfords and Evans.
Roy Naismith, the company’s finance director, said: “Many of our staff do not live far from work, so [offering] a cheaper, greener option was important to us.”
