Independent charity, v, has launched a web-based tool to enable employers to offer, implement and measure volunteering opportunities to staff.
Key features of its Volunteering Works tool include built-in social marketing for employees to share their experiences, and real-time reporting to enable HR managers to set targets for the volunteering programme and monitor progress as it happens.
Terry Ryall, chief executive of v, said: “Volunteering Works is all about creating a big society. It is what we do.
“Over the last four years, we have worked with over 200 businesses and 500 charities to create over one million volunteering opportunities in the UK.
