Leading specialist banking group Investec have enjoyed a successful launch of their new voluntary benefits package, with more than 50% of employees signing up to the programme within just five days.
The new scheme, Investec Reward Gateway, was rolled out to the firm’s 1,300 employees at the end of last month with Asperity.
The programme consists primarily of a shopping discounts website, which offers users savings at big high street stores such as Sainsbury’s, Comet and Marks & Spencer, as well as smaller and independent retailers online, in-store and over the phone.
A spokesperson from Investec, said: “We are really pleased with the high engagement so soon after launching Investec Reward Gateway. The good timing of the launch – just at the start of the run-up to Christmas – together with great employee communications has really helped to give the scheme that initial boost.
“We hope that the discounts available through the scheme will be just as popular – if not more so – in the New Year, as people look to save money after the expense of Christmas. It is great to have a benefits scheme which will not only be popular at certain times of the year; the everyday genuine savings mean that it will be appreciated by our employees all year round.”
