Towers Watson appoints new head of retirement

Towers Watson has appointed Peter Rowles head of its retirement practice for the UK and Ireland.


Rowles will succeed John Ball, who was appointed Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) head of retirement solutions in June 2014.

Rowles joined the organisation in 1987, and has held various leadership roles, most recently head of its retirement consultancy team.

Prior to joining the organistaion, his roles included pensions administrator at Unilever and administrator at Providence Capitol.

Ball said: “I am delighted that [Rowles] has been appointed to succeed me as UK and Ireland head of retirement.

“He has successfully guided our large Reigate-based team through a period of substantial change over the past few years, and this experience makes him ideally placed to develop and grow the business in the coming years.”
