JLT Employee Benefits has launched an investment platform to provide investment management options to trustees of defined benefit (DB) pension schemes.
The JLT Investment Platform provides manager research and selection, transition management, investment reporting, asset allocation and solvency management on a bundled or standalone basis.
Other aspects of the platform include:
- Bulk buying through lower fees.
- Access to a wide range of third-party investment managers.
- Access to single and multi-asset investment management.
Paul Francis, director of investment consulting at JLT Employee Benefits, said: “DB scheme trustees have more than enough to worry about without having to deal with the daily minutiae of investment.
“Using our new investment platform, trustees set the overall investment strategy and asset allocation in agreement with our experienced consultants and fund managers, then we take over the rest.
“Although designed as a bundled service we can offer trustees complete flexibility. If they only want one of our platform services or a combination of several, we can tailor our delivery to their exact requirements.”
