RWE npower will introduce total reward statements in June as the first step towards implementing a flexible benefits scheme.
The move to flex is part of its long-term benefits strategy, which has yet to gain board approval. The energy firm wants to re-educate staff around its voluntary benefit package, encourage take up and create a long-term platform for flexible benefits.
Ester Pinto, reward adviser, said: “What we want to do is educate staff more on their package and create greater visibility.”
