Recruitment firm Gi Group Holding has become a founding member of the charity Wellbeing of Women to raise awareness of the wellbeing of all women.
Gi Group Holding is made up of the brands Gi Group, Marks Sattin, Grafton, Gi Pro, Intoo and Tack TMI. As a member, it will be able to access knowledge, skills and resources to support women’s health in the workplace from early to later life challenges.
The charity will also enable the group to develop policies and effective measures on women’s health issues, such as periods, fertility, pregnancy, gynaecological cancers and the menopause, as well as prevention, diagnosis, treatment and managements.
Gi Group Holding made the decision to become a member because it is dedicated to providing an inclusive, supportive and understanding working environment across the organisation.
Tanith Pearsall, IT systems and process analyst at Gi Group Holding, and mental health first aider, said: “Women’s health is a critical yet often overlooked aspect of healthcare, especially in the workplace. These health issues not only impact personal wellbeing but also significantly affect women’s professional lives, productivity, and career advancement. I am excited to be part of making change within Gi Group, working to support and educate our staff on these important issues.”

Cindy Gunn, group head of people at Gi Group, added: “The days of suffering in silence are diminishing. Navigating the challenges of women’s health can be a lonely experience for many, but by opening up this important conversation, our teams are joining forces to tackle the stigma, lack of awareness and limited educational resources.
“Here at Gi Group, we’re determined to pave the way for other industries and businesses, showcasing what is possible when forces unite. This charity initiative isn’t just about raising awareness, it is about supporting the diagnosis, treatment and management of these health challenges in the first place. We recognise that we are nothing without the team around us which is why we continue to show our support and investment to champion our team.”
