EDsmart calls for Harry Potter fans to binge-watch every movie

Something for the weekend: Enterprise solution organisation EDsmart is hiring candidates to watch every Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movie from start to finish for $41.50 (£33.61) per hour.

With many people having a lot of spare time on their hands, the organisation is looking for active and outgoing Harry Potter fans who can get stuck into binge-watching all of the movies while live-tweeting or live streaming using the EDsmart hashtag.

Overall, the winning candidate will end up watching ten movies, equating to 25 hours and 6 minutes of viewing hours, and earn $1,000 (£810).

Alongside the payment, EDsmart are offering benefits including the complete collection of eight Harry Potter movies on Blu-ray, a $100 (£81) GrubHub gift card, a Gryffindor snuggie, a Hogwarts alumni stainless steel tumbler and a selection of Harry Potter inspired snacks, which they can munch their way through while they are engrossed in the movies.

To apply, aspiring Harry Potter applicants simply have to explain in no more than 200 words why they should be one of the five bingers, but they better be quick, the closing date for this amazing job is 15 May 2020.

Sadly no young wizards will be able to apply, as the job is only available to those who are at least 18 years old.

A spokesperson from EDsmart said: “In light of all that’s going on out there and in our homes, we’ve decided to pay up to five Muggles, Mudbloods and magic folk $1,000 (£810) each to watch every Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movie, the ultimate dream job. The right candidate will be chosen by the sorting hat.”

Here at Employee Benefits, we hope that the potter-cular winning candidate will be in good shape to settle down and binge watch for 10 hours straight.
