Something for the weekend: Devils Backbone Brewing Company is looking to recruit a chief hiking officer (CHO).
The organisation is looking for an employee who has a real love for hiking and beer, and will pay the successful applicant to trek the Appalachian Trail, which is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains in the US.
The CHO will be tasked with spending five to seven months exploring the trail between Georgia and Maine, while sharing content on social media channels of their escapades.
The lucky candidate will be kitted out with the right gear and receive extensive training to ensure that they stay on the right track as they clock up 2,200 miles on the trail. They will also be rewarded with a $20,000 (£16,130) salary.
Applicants must submit a one-minute video proving to the business why they are prepared for this once in a lifetime adventure.
