Breakspear Park hosts Christmas market for 1,300 on-site employees

Hemel Hempstead business park Breakspear Park has held a pop-up Christmas market for the approximately 1,300 employees working for organisations with offices based in the complex.

On 3 December 2019, employees at businesses including BAM Construction, NHSP, and Britvic were able to take advantage of the event, put on by the business park to help alleviate the stresses of Christmas shopping, particularly for those in job roles with the added pressure of a workload that does not wind down towards the end of the year.

Employees were encouraged to attend the event via regular communications from Breakspear Park’s marketing team. The event was also featured within its weekly newsletter, as well as highlighted on the group’s Facebook page.

Local businesses were invited to sell gifts at the market; these included Christmas cards, make-up, beauty products, festive foods and candles.

Dina Mistry, marketing manager at Breakspear Park, said: “This time of year is busy for everyone, so we hosted this event to try to help the staff tick a few more things off their lists, without having to leave the office. There was a fantastic buzz around the park and it helped many people get into the festive spirit.”
