Brainlabs recruits new chief people officer

Digital marketing agency Brainlabs has hired Jenny Healy (pictured right) as its new chief people officer as of this month (November).

Healy held the role of chief human resources officer at US global media and marketing services organisation Mindshare and US media, marketing and corporate communications company Omnicom Media Group, and has been involved in senior human resources development in the industry for more than 20 years.

Her appointment, which follows former Mediacom boss Stephen Allan joining as an executive chair to drive global expansion plans, will see her develop the Brainlabs culture, foster diversity and inclusiveness, and lead every aspect of employee proposals and HR operations. This will include recruitment, employee involvement, talent management, organisational effectiveness, leadership development, in-house career growth, and a learning culture.

Also set to join the business’ executive team, Healy’s role will see her be in charge of staff recruitment and retention, as well as keeping employees happy and making the organisation an “attractive” employer.

Brainlabs, which has three UK offices in London, Manchester and Farnham, has grown rapidly recently and has increased its workforce from 150 to 650 in less than two years.

She said: “[Brainlabs] People are at the heart of their business and we understand that our job is to create great work for our clients while allowing them to prosper and enjoy themselves. We look forward to supporting their journey and creating the perfect place to build and develop their digital marketing career.”

Daniel Gilbert, global CEO of Brainlabs, described Healy as “the most authoritative person possible,” meanwhile, UK CEO Jo Lyall added: “While the number of staff is growing exponentially, the challenge of navigating new ways of working and building and nurturing a corporate culture is in the hands of professionals. Jenny certainly has it in her hands.”
