Bluestone National Park Resort holds staff appreciation day

Pembrokeshire holiday park Bluestone National Park Resort held an appreciation day in recognition of the hard work and commitment employees have demonstrated this year.

The event, which took place on 24 September, rewarded 700 staff members with high-street vouchers and doughnuts, as well as other sweet treats especially made by a local supplier.

Employees at the resort were presented with their reward when they arrived for their shift. Bluestone plans to futher show appreciation of employees’ efforts at an upcoming staff awards event.

Jessica Rainbow, people services manager, said: “It’s been a great summer season with visitors enjoying all that the area has to offer to enjoy a staycation. Our staff have gone above and beyond in their work to ensure everyone has had a great time. We appreciate everything they do and this is just one way of demonstrating that.

“Our team members are the people that make our guest’s holidays something to remember, working hard in a wide range of roles in our restaurants and cafes, adventure activities, customer service, spa, Blue Lagoon Water Park, to those behind the scenes looking after everything from housekeeping to maintenance.

“Every day they work hard to ensure guests have the best possible experience and we really do appreciate all that they do. We wanted to do something to thank them for it and an appreciation day is just one way of recognising them for everything they do.”
