IT services business Atos, software, data and media organisation Bloomberg and global technology firm CA Technologies (pictured) are among those recognised on the Top 10 gender inclusive employers 2018 list, compiled by diversity jobs board Vercida.

The list forms one of six annual rankings produced by Vercida, designed to recognise excellence and commitment to equality and diversity in the workplace. The lists showcase the top employers for inclusive practices across gender, disability, ethnicity, sexuality, faith and age.

The gender inclusivity list, which considered more than 160 employers, ranks organisations based on factors such as its diversity initiatives, the amount and type of content it shares on the Vercida website, partnerships with diverse initiatives, external awards received and how the business ranks as a candidate favourite.

Morgan Lobb, chief executive officer at Vercida, said: “The Vercida award explores the power of using a diversity-led careers site to reach new audiences and promote diversity and inclusion at all levels. We’ve seen really strong engagement this year and our clients’ commitment to recruiting and supporting people well was very impressive.

“These awards have no category sponsors and there is no glitzy black-tie awards dinner; in fact employers aren’t even invited to enter with a well-worded entry. We choose the winners based on their direct, demonstrable inclusion efforts over time.”
