Salesforce, Microsoft and Apple named best places to work in UK

Salesforce, Microsoft and Apple are among the top 10 employers named in Glassdoor’s UK list of Best Places to Work in 2020.

Its annual Employees’ Choice Awards, which is in its thirteenth year, is compiled using data from anonymous postings on Glassdoor’s website.

Employee reviews about their jobs, work environment and employers in the previous 12 months are analysed to select the best places to work, which recognise employers with 1,000 or more employees requiring more than 30 ratings. Organisations are ranked based on their overall rating achieved during 2020.

Salesforce topped the leadership for this year with an overall rating of 4.5. Employees credited the technology organisation for its friendly culture and financial support for home office equipment during the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.

Technology giant Microsoft was awarded a second-place finish with a rating of 4.4. Employees mentioned that the employer commits to developing staff as there is personal development potential.
