Abercrombie appoints Holly May

Fashion brand Abercrombie & Fitch Co has appointed Holly May as its new chief human resources officer.

May joins the brand having previously been senior vice president of global total rewards and service delivery at coffee giant Starbucks. At Starbucks she led the strategic direction of its global compensation and benefits portfolio. This included managing teams across its global rewards department as well as those in executive performance management, global mobility and immigration, university recruiting, HR transformation, policy and governance, HR technology, PMO/portfolio delivery, payroll and tax. She also previously worked in global compensation for Visa.

Commenting on the appointment, Fran Horowitz, CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, said: “Holly’s extensive senior HR experience across a diverse group of publicly traded companies makes her a valuable addition to our team.”

May will now lead Abercrombie’s global HR function and strategy, including talent management and leadership development, diversity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, and all other facets of organisational, talent and culture building initiatives.
