EXCLUSIVE: One third (33%) of employers offer season ticket travel loans to support the financial wellbeing of its employees.
The Employee Benefits research 2020, published in May 2020, which surveyed 269 HR decision-makers, also found that a further 33% offer some sort of financial education.
Season ticket travel loans remain one of the most commonly offered financial wellbeing benefits. The fact these have consistently topped the list over the years is perhaps unsurprising as employers look to support employees as the cost of using public transport continues to rise.
This year, season ticket travel loans are closely followed by financial education. education on another basis. However, this could be set to change as 22% say they plan to introduce financial education in their organisation. The top three financial benefits offered by employers remain steady.
